Shay has been an extraordinary doula! My experience was nothing short of amazing.

My name is Whitney Langdon. I'm 24 with 2 beautiful girls. My second time around having a baby had me extremely nervous because I had a C-section for my first pregnancy. I'm blessed to have had my doula in my life because she helped me make it possible to push out my daughter without any complications. She educated me on different ways to make my labor easier: such as breathing techniques, aromatherapy (lavender knocked me right out), and warm-cold methods for when it was time to deliver. My doula, Shay, never left my side; she even came to help me at home! I'm a new mom of 2 kids, and in the beginning, my mind was all over the place. I was trying to learn how to multitask. My doula made it known that she's here for me, and if I need help with anything, she has the resources that may help. Having her support meant the world to me! I'm excited to know that there will be other lucky ladies who will have a fulfilling birth experience with her as I did! I can't thank Shay enough!

Shay has been an extraordinary birth doula! My experience was nothing short of amazing. My son is my first child. I had particular wishes for my child's birth (no vaccinations, delayed cord clamping, placenta encapsulation, etc.) and Shay made sure to take note of that and made sure my wishes were carried out. She answered all questions I had in addition to providing me with resources, methodologies, and support. I appreciate her immensely for the constant affirmations, being and out of encouragement, and time dedicated to my son's birth. Everyone loved her, and I'm glad I chose to make her a part of my birth team! I can't thank her enough!

Shaina was so great to work with! She was compassionate and kind and really tried to be attuned to my needs. This was my second birth with a doula, so I already had a sense of what I was looking for, and she definitely provided a lot of that. What was unique and turned out to be a really good part of the experience was that our relationship was entirely virtual. I was diagnosed with COVID right before I gave birth, and she wasn't able to be in the hospital room with me, so she coached me through my birth through text and calls. You would think, "How does that even work?" But it did! And well! She helped me speak up for my needs in the room with her guidance and made sure I had the encouragement and support I needed. As someone who had done this rodeo once before, it was exactly the level of support I ended up needing. She was great, and I can't wait to see how she grows in her doula journey!
